John Wick: Chapter 2 is the second installment of the exciting action series starring Keanu Reeves that came out earlier this year.

Much like the first in the series, the sequel was applauded by audiences and critics alike, which is somewhat rare for action films. In addition, much like the first film, Keanu Reeves underwent extensive training for the sequel too which included martial arts as well as shooting and stunt driving training. Compared to other films that rely heavily on CGI and over the top stunts, both John Wick and the sequel were very well choreographed and the a lot went into the action scenes like we see in the video below.

Share: twitter facebook linkedin.Keanu Reeves disappointed some film fans with his combative roles in 47 Ronin and Man of Tai Chiin part because he looked out of place and miscast.

That's especially ironic when you consider that Reeves directed — and cast himself in — Man of Tai Chi. In the martial arts, we voluntarily subject ourselves to conflict in a training environment so we can transcend conflict in the real world. After all, we wouldn't knowingly train in a style that makes us weaker or worsens our position. The irony of all this is that we don't want to fight our opponent.

We prefer to work with what an opponent gives us to turn the tide in our favor, to resolve the situation effectively and efficiently. The Japanese have a word for this: sabaki. It means to work with energy efficiently. When we train with the sabaki mindset, we receive our opponent's attack, almost as a gift. Doing so requires less physical effort and frees up our mental operating system so it can determine the most efficient solution to the conflict.

In this essay, I will present a brief history of sabaki, as well as break down the sabaki method using Miyamoto Musashi's five elements. Tricking is a sport that is rooted in extreme martial arts and incorporates various movement styles like parkour, gymnastics, and breakdancing. The corkscrew or "cork" is one of the most popular techniques in the sport, and is essentially a full-twisting backflip performed off of one leg as the other leg swings into the air.

Setting cork world records has become a staple goal for all of the world's elite trickers, such as Michael Guthrie and Alexander Andersen landing quadruple corks or Bailey Payne executing twenty-five single corks in a row. The Reebok-sponsored athlete is widely regarded as one of the top trickers in the world and has crafted this reputation with his mastery of twisting techniques like the corkscrew. It's being reported that the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation will be making a long awaited change in their rules to allow the use of heel hooks and knee reaps in no-gi competition for brown and black belts.

However the site BJJ Heroes is reporting that other referees are claiming the rule change is still under discussion. Recent years have seen an increased popularity of leg lock techniques in other grappling competitions leading to a growing call among jiu-jitsu practitioners for their inclusion in IBJJF events. As the world continues to "shrink" and feel smaller through technological innovations in communication and travel, our world also seems to be more divided than ever before.

Our culture now teaches us to be "followers" and "subscribers" to content, that in turn guides many people's thoughts, and affects how they interact with the world around them on daily basis. Ultimately, in a time of such uncertainty and division, our focus and efforts should be placed directly on building and developing leaders, not followers. In order to do this in a modern world, and cut through all the chatter and digital content, we must look back to a time tested, traditional approach to building leaders.

The four months Keanu Reeves spent learning martial arts pays off handsomely in "John Wick," which features brutal fights that don't rely on camera tricks or fancy editing. The plot: Wick, the most ruthless assassin in the history of Russian organized crime, pulls off an impossible feat of killing belligerence, earning himself the right to leave the mob.Reeves is a legend without questions.

He performs a number of his own stunts in the film, a feat that requires extreme discipline and dedication. Throughout his career, he has practiced jujutsu, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and tactical shooting. Reeves performs each circuit two to three times per week. He completes reps of each exercise and then he moves on to the next exercise. The map with the highlighted routes and stops was a lifesaver. The planning and prebookings were also a relief so everything was along the way and easy to get through. Overall, we were impressed with how well planned everything was.

All the guesthouses we stayed in were very very comfortable. Much better than we had expected and the owners were all lovely. We always had a good home cooked breakfast and sometimes a dinner was provided at a cost of course.

We were so glad we had chosen the "budget" accommodation to experience being in someone's home and meeting others staying there. Would highly recommend this type of accommodation. Found driving around Iceland quite easy. It is the only way to do it rather than be with a tour bus. The GPS helped a lot as did the general maps. The main map was excellent where our route was plotted out for us.

Just loved the whole experience. Each day seemed to be better than the previous such a beautiful country of contrasts. Put plenty of photos on Facebook and so many of our friends did not realise how amazing and picturesque Iceland is. The day tours were excellent, particularly the ones from Hofn, Isafjordur and Akureyri. We are really grateful to the guides on these tours for making them so interesting and special.

This vacation was our honeymoon. We had just got married in the states a few days prior to the start of our trip. We had the most incredible experience. Everything was just wonderful. Working with our travel agent, Maria, for months prior, could not have been a better experience. She was so helpful, always quick to respond, answered all of my (many. My sister secretly reached out to her to choose a restaurant to treat us to dinner for the last night of our trip, and Maria's suggestion was perfect.

I especially loved the folder we received upon arrival that included vouchers for each day. This was helpful to enter in the destination to the car's GPS to help us get around.

Not only did it suggest what to do each day, but it gave you a little history of each item. Since we were on our own most of the trip, these little blurbs of info gave me a nice bit of history, the perfect amount.
